I am Managing Director of Island Healthcare Ltd, a medium-sized provider with 166 beds on the Isle of Wight and plans to grow further in the future. I lead on compliance, HR and Quality Assurance and manage various projects including the development of the IHL Hub, implementation of E-Care plans and ensuring GDPR compliance.In another role, I am Director of the IOW Care Partnership. As the representative body for care providers on the Isle of Wight we provide support as well as lobbying and representation at various system and strategic meetings.As Integrated Commissioning Officer I was in an innovative role, responsible for commissioning provider support at the IOW Council and being a voice of the independent sector within the system. Working on alliance contracting, outcomes based commissioning and strength based practice as well was working on various transformation projects including around hospital to home and quality assurance.Previously I worked as a Political Consultant at Dods Group and before that, in the parliamentary office of two Members of Parliament.
