I have worked in various part of IT for during my many years of experience in different IT roles. My current role is and for several years my role has been as IT service management/application manager with a global marine crewing system, and has earlier with various systems in a variety of areas. I have several years of experience of interacting with business users, business managers, product owners, etc on one side and IT vendors and other internal IT specialists on the other side to ensure definition of business requirements and implementation of the business requirements as workable IT solutions. In this role be the IT contact point between the business and IT vendor and/or internal IT departments. I have knowledge about virtual environments and cloud - especially Saas solutions on a levelTo fulfil the role. The role as IT service management/application manager includes elements as vendor management, change management, incident management, co-ordinating business requirements with IT vendors, writing business requirement, understanding of IT architecture and solution architecture, IT security, follow up on application health, general advice on IT solutions, work closely with IT support teams and more. I like to work in the area between the business/customers and IT solutions by understanding customer needs and requirements and transform business requirements into IT in close cooperation with developers and IT vendors who deliver the solutions. I have experience in co-ordinating projects with different IT vendors in a complex organisation with several business units and departments. I am used to work with and follow standard IT project management procedures and IT development procedures and methods, change management procedures, documentation of IT system, and QA.I have experience in all phases of implementing IT systems on different platforms - latest mostly SaaS solutions. I have a lot of experience of working with several vendors used as sub-contractors for solution architecture, development, implementation, operation, entire IT systems and/or other IT services.I have passed Prince2 Foundation - Project management and ITIL 3 Foundation examination.Started many years back my career as a mainframe programmer and has also years back been a solution architect.
