Growing up and witnessing the inequalities faced by women and girls, ignited a fire within me to advocate for women and children's rights. This drive, coupled with my passion for equal rights, led me to pursue a BA Honours in Sociology and Anthropology at MSVU.Upon moving to Canada, my interests broadened, and I became fascinated by racial equity and cultural humility. In my professional journey, the question of my dream job lingers, but one thing remains constant: my desire to effect positive economic and social change wherever I go. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with incredible teams and organizations that have nurtured my passion for service and making a difference.Outside of work, I'm an avid art enthusiast, dabbling in drawing, painting, and even singing (though I'm still honing that skill!). I find joy in discovering beauty in everything and everyone around me. I thrive on learning new hobbies and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, whether it's through trying my hand at hiking or embracing new artistic challenges.As an African proverb wisely states, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together." I firmly believe in the power of collaboration and community in driving meaningful change.
