In my career as a mechanical engineer I have been especially worked with designing and optimizing in the fields of medical devices:➢7 ½ years with Dantec Medical; designing needle and surface electrodes for EMG and NCS (Neurology)➢1 year at Novo Nordisk; concept design of assembly and packaging line for a tablet-dispenser.➢13 years at Radiometer Medical: •5 years, quality and cost optimizing arterial blood samplers. •2 years; designing future arterial blood samplers. •6 years; responsible for designing the fluid cartridge with many features for the new product platform, which recently launched.In my work I have a special focus on:➢Intuitive functions to the user.➢Cost (construct with so few components, processes and controls as possible).➢Optimize components DFM (design for manufacturing).Specialties: ➢Moulding plastic and rubber.➢Automatic assembling and test flow + leak.➢Laser Welding plastic.➢Flowpack and welding plastic foil.
