● Coordinated, drafted and worked on bilateral and multilateral agreements for consumer protection and cross-border enforcement issues with countries in Latin America, in English and Spanish.● Co-lead training videoconference, webinar, and teleconferences with Latin American consumer protection agencies.● Contributed input on the preparation of comments on a draft law of a consumer protection counterpart relating to electronic commerce.● Prepared response to a request from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) for information on online disclosures and behavioral insights studies in the United States. ● Researched jurisdictional issues on the protection of small- and medium-sized businesses from scams, as well as cases involving financial technology and electronic commerce. ● Helped and prepared a presentation on consumer protection trends for an international consumer protection forum.● Negotiated and convinced a foreign authority to join a particular multinational cooperative project. At the conclusion of the internship, I received a letter of high recommendation from the Deputy Director for the Consumer Protection Office of International Affairs.
