Being the youngest of 4 siblings, I absorbed many of my family's different hobbies and interests, from snowboarding to photography to traveling to reading, and the list can go on and on. But out of everything I was exposed to, medicine stuck out the most as it has everything I wanted and was good at. Hands-on skills with intellectual expertise and constantly learning new things while talking to new people every day drew me in. Now I hope to become a medical professional. Studying at NYITCOM's integrated 7-year B.S./D.O. program allowed me to explore and love medicine without having to become a cookie-cutter pre-med student to pass specific criteria. I explored research, coding, and videography in my spare time. Now as a medical student I am excited to learn and hone into a specialty that fits my personality and skills. I am open to finding clinical and research experiences that will allow me to apply my coding skills and publish research articles while learning more about medicine.
