1.) Responsible for all rigs operations (within Natih field) round the clock. Communicate operations progress and arrange discussions in the department as needed on findings. Tackled with geological difficulties, especially in lateral section, and decided on corrective/remedial actions. Ensured accomplishing well objectives specified in the well proposal.2.) Update static models and plan field development plan of Daleel Natih with main focus on 1P and 2P sectors. Support Natih Team leader to deliver notional location of wells (surface and subsurface) in both single-lateral and multi-lateral cases.3.) Preparing well pick G&G material, well proposal G&G part, formation tops and targets, well trajectory for new wells. 4.) Prepare training program for summer trainees and new Wellsite Geologist. Arrange and follow training.5.) Follow up with other assets all Natih opportunity while drilling for Shuaiba reservoirs. Identify the required log and test requirement.6.) Prepare presentation/summary of appraisal results in Daleel Natih by end Q3 2012 with incremental oil volume.

Act as an Operation Section Head when Operation Section Head on leave and mange all team issues and operations during that periods.3.) Give full support to all the team in the drilling operation, reporting, and steering the wells…ect.4.) Conducted well pick sessions together with RE. The focal point in well proposal preparation. Ensured to issue the proposal on time to enable operations move smoothly. 5.) Participate on exploration well planning and well proposal preparation in well trajectory design, data gathering etc.6.) Review Operation Geologist task and Targets for the year 2012 to distribute the work load through all members and give chances to everyone to develop his skills on operation and development geology.7.) The focal points for the 3 Geo-steering trails which were done in Daleel by Schlumberger, (Microscope & Stethoscope tool), and Halliburton, (Geo-Pilot tool).8.) Prepare training program for hiring new wellsite geologists. Organize and follow training program.9.) Create Mandatory HSE List for OG and WSG and make sure everyone re-new all necessary HSE required by the company.

I worked for around 1 year for Oxy Oman as Operation Geologist and through out that period my duties were:-1. Point of contact with the well site geologist2. Focal point for well locations7. Coordinate (and write part of) well proposals48. Point of contact for project geologist, petrophysist and contractors for all Geosciences related operational needs.9. Supervise, through well-site geologist, the mud-logging service10. Work with drilling department and petrophysist to ensure geosciences related contractors are aware of call out needs, timing, tool requirements11. Follow and QC (with the petrophysist) logging and sampling programs to ensure objectives are met and samples are properly retrieved, preserved and shipped to proper destination12. Ensure all geosciences digital data (wire line, LWD, deviation data, MDT, etc.) are obtained correctly and distributed to Petrophysicist and /or Data manager13. Ensure that all well data is delivered to Open Work database14. Ensure accurate billing from service companies15. Ensure that partners and MOG receive necessary reports16. 1. Checking that the primary well data , elevations and locations co-ordinate used in all well report and records are in agreement with the original surveyor’s report. 2.Analyze and describe drill cutting, core samples, and shows of hydrocarbons .3.Identify and report all formation tops. 4. Correlate formations drilled with other nearby wells. 5. Recommend coring points, sidewall core samples, and RFT sample points. 6. Prepare and send geological reports daily, and at other times specified.7.Advise the drilling personnel of any significant lithology change, or other geological parameter, which might affect the safe and efficient drilling of the well. 8. Supervise the mud logging operation, including preparation of mud logs, performance of equipment and personnel and collecting, labeling and shipment of drill cuttings and cores. 9. Observe all wireline logging operations, and monitor accuracy and quality of logs, including collection and analysis of samples. 10. Produce a wireline logging report which include but is not limited to log runs , dates , times , intervals , temperature , log quality comment and time delays in the daily geological report and which will also incorporate a quick look evaluations of the net pay and together with any pressure profile data. 11. Routine steering-fine tuning alterations can be decided with the Operation Geologist unless specified in the well proposal. 12. Monitoring of the steering the well on a 24 hr. 13.Providing excel spreadsheet of both the well profile and well plan. 14. Producing a WINLOG composite log for all pilot and exploratory holes.15.
