Newton is the first-of-its-kind investor training program for investors who fuel the global innovation ecosystem: VCs, LPs, angels, accelerators, and tech transfer officers worldwide. The program aims to make the practice of investing in early-stage ventures globally widespread and accessible. The program is a joint venture between London Business School and Local Globe VC.

- Key clients included the world’s largest technology focused investment fund with over $100bn in capital and the CVC arm of a UK multinational energy company - Assessed complex valuation models and underlying management assumptions for start-ups; e-commerce (South Korea), logistics and delivery (India), various energy disruptor start-ups and a challenger SME bank (UK)- Challenged complex DCF valuations provided by the client & assessed the portfolio company specific WACC calculations & comparable quoted company sets for reasonability of exit multiples- Overall assessment of company performance and variance analysis underpinned by analysis of relevant financial statements & KPIs- Assessed the effect of key macroeconomic factors (pandemic & economic environment) on the entirety of the multinational energy CVC and the reasonableness of their proposed responses.
