• Overlooking and managing the academic spend of the college. This would require me to manage the budgets, set up coding on Oracle to allocate spend per department.• Reporting on spend to the director, principal and other fund managers• Covering the college accounts, funds which are audited by the MOD.• Training staff on new purchase ordering systems, and put in procedures to ensure the college runs on an efficient model, minimising petty cash and credit card spend.• Communicating with finance personnel across Pearson globally, from the UK to US and India to meet the needs of the college• Issuing bursaries and managing financial assessments for the billing of college fees.• Updating and maintaining the cash book.• Bank reconciliations• Producing aged debtor reports, and credit control reports for the MOD.
