Accomplished over twenty-five (25) years of progressive experience in highway development with seamless transition from traditional Transportation Planning, Highway Design and Construction Management to regarding road infrastructure as an important asset worthy of preventative maintenance and management in harmony with the existing environment. Currently a team member consultant for the development of Abuja new runway, establishment of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Truck Maintenance Centre in Katsina, Kastina State Nigeria.Provided Technical Assistance to the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) in Nigeria on the review of Road maintenance Management Strategies and Improvement in Road Asset Management.A trainer on Road Data Manager - RDM Malawi (Pavement Management System software) under the European Union supported project in Malawi, implemented by the UK based Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) Limited. A project team leader and primary author of the World Bank financed Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP) phase2 Prioritisation Studies report for the five North Western states of Nigeria. An active member of the roads team under the DFID supported Nigerian Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF2) initiative in the introduction of Road Asset Management System as part of a broader institutional reform of the Nigerian road agencies Chief Resident Engineer, Team Leader and primary author of monthly progress reports for the completed Abuja Airport runway rehabilitation in April 2017. Provided leadership in appraisal, design and construction supervision of several Local, State and Federal roads in Nigeria. Proficient in the use and concept of economic appraisal tools using Highway Development and Management Model (HDM-4), Auto CAD Land Dev./Civil 3D for road designs and Microsoft Applications for reporting and project management. Independent and resourceful, with ability to adapt and integrate easily. Possess outstanding written and presentation communication skills.
