Duties: -Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.-Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and establish procurement plans accordingly.-Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, products, and trends in the electrical industry.-Assess and manage supplier performance, including evaluating their capabilities, pricing, and delivery reliability.-Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers of materials, equipment, and services.-Negotiate and establish favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.-Conduct supplier performance evaluations, track key performance indicators, and implement improvement measures when necessary.-Develop and implement efficient procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.-Prepare and issue procurement requests, including RFQs (Request for Quotation), RFPs (Request for Proposal), and purchase orders.-Review and analyze supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and make recommendations for selection to the management team.-Monitor and track procurement activities, including order status, delivery schedules, and payment status.-Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and engineers, to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.-Analyze and evaluate pricing structures, market trends, and cost drivers in the industry.-Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality and reliability.-Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.-Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier evaluation to the management team.-Utilize procurement software systems or tools to streamline processes, track data, and generate reports.
