Delivering sustainable engineering design for Client (PDO - Petroleum Development of Oman).Responsible for qualified process design on projects involved:- Design development inline with Company and international standards: SP/DEP/API/ ASME and learnings from Incidents (LFI).-Development of process drawings (P&ID, PFD and PSD)-Conducting necessary studies such as: depressurization and blowdown study; equipment adequacy study; low temperature propagation study; flare system adequacy check, etc.-Equipment sizing sheets preparation and providing process input.-Development of project documentation such as: safeguarding memorandum and plant operating manual amendments/ various philosophies (TSP/OCSP/ Control Narrative input, PDB etc)/ Flare and Blowdown report/ hydraulic report/ H&MB -Attending various sessions and workshops (IPF/HAZOP/ DR) as a process engineer, providing process overview of the system.-Provision of process TQs and discussing the vendor items design with the vendors.-Supervising junior engineers and providing lectured/ presentation materials

•Developing unit design: Undertake various system calculations such as Hydraulic, NPSH, and equipment sizing calculations. Data provision for data sheets.;•Developing system explanatory documentation such as: Operating Procedures, SOG (System Operating Guide), Hydraulic Study Reports, Process Design Description, Design Narrative etc. Raising/ Solving out Engineering Queries.;•Communication with Client and Contractor: Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), Provision comments to vendor deliverables, Preparation of Comments Response Sheet (CRS); Vendors screening for equipment selection including collaboration for efficient design solutions. P&ID Joint Review and HAZOP meeting attendance.; •Checking and Supervision: Supervising junior engineers for the development of design deliverables. Review/Checking project deliverables and provide comments and recommendations. Undertaking in-depth analyses/studies of problems and findings identified during a review of design and supports to identify engineering solutions and/or options;•Standards and specifications. Company specifications, API, ANSI, ASME etc.

•Developing system design: Undertake various system calculations such as Hydraulic, NPSH, and equipment sizing calculations. Data provision for data sheets.;•Developing system explanatory documentation such as: Operating Procedures, SOG (System Operating Guide), Hydraulic Study Reports, Erosion Analysis Report etc. Raising Engineering Queries and Further Uploading into the MANIC.;•Communication with Client and subcontractors: Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), Provision comments to vendor deliverables through general communication (WTT) system, Preparation of Comments Response Sheet (CRS); Vendors screening for equipment selection including collaboration for efficient design solutions. What-if and HAZOP meeting attendance.;•Checking and Supervision: Supervising junior engineers for the development of design deliverables. Review/Checking project deliverables and provide comments and recommendations. Undertaking in-depth analyses/studies of problems and findings identified during a review of design and supports to identify engineering solutions and/or options;•Standards and specifications. Working with KBR standard Base, work methods and general guidelines. BP specifications, API, ANSI, ASME, BP piping specifications and GP specifications, etc.).

- Concept Design Package Development- System design and upgrades- Performing calculations / sizing- Process SOR, BOD and SOW development- System explanatory documentation such as: Operating Guides, Control Narratives, HVAC system calculation reports, Line sizing and Hydraulic Assessment reports, Operating and Control philosophies, Manuals for API Tank Inspection- What-if and HAZOP meeting attendance- Supervising and Leading team staff for development of design deliverables such as P&IDs PFDs and UFDs Data Sheets, Line List, Alarm & Trip Register, Cause & Effect Diagram, etc. Co-operating with other departments, personnel involved in the project and subcontractors- Review/Checking project deliverables and provide comments and recommendations. Preparation of MTO (Material take-off) and CTR (Cost, time and resources)- Communication with Clients and Contractors- Vendors screening, TBE, CRS development- Site survey plans and reports Data collecting on site
