The key role was leading and overseeing MTI health and nutrition program in Gedarif state where MTI is working in 8 localities running 72 health and nutrition facilities to provide PHC services, Community Management of Acute Malnutrition including IYCF. The key partners were UNHCR, UNICEF, IOM and WFP. Apart of this duty was the provision of health and nutrition services for the 4 refugees’ camps in Gedarif (TUN, UMR, UMG and BAB camps). My main focus duties were contributing to effective efficient project implementation, technical support and supervision, as well as contributing to active representation and participation through different forums including health and nutrition sector.

My position was to play a pivotal role within the Sudan Country Program, supporting the overall objective of achieving high-quality and compliant programming. Reporting to the Partnerships Manager in HQ - Doha, I was contributing to effective sub-grants management, fostering strong and sustainable partnerships. This role involves coordinating partnership activities, ensuring compliance with QC Partnership obligation, and facilitating engagement with diverse partners. My role was also to contribute to capacity-building activities, ensuring QC partnership principles are integrated into programs and projects with partners. Also to assist in documenting and responding to partner feedback on QC management of the partnership relationship as well as supporting the partnership vetting and due diligence processes in coordination with relevant departments.

This national position based in Khartoum responsible for health and nutrition program in the organization. During this period, I used to plan health activities, lead implementation as well as effective communication and coordination with the key stake holders including health and nutrition sectors. During this period, I have been engaged in fund raising and partnerships development targeting mainly UNHCR, OCHA, UNOPS and UNICEF.

During this period, I was managing the project (Strengthen Health System emergency preparedness in Sudan 2021), where key activities to be achieved were construction of reference Isolation center, risk communication, strengthening state surveillance system as well as training of SMOH staff and community volunteers on important emergency topics.

This is a national position based in Khartoum, responsible of managing three State sub offices (Kassala, South Darfur and North Darfur) as well as Fund raising, partnership building, fund tracking and governance for project implementation. During this period, I was responsible for giving the necessary technical & administrative support and guidance for implementation of the health and nutrition projects which were funded by UNDP, SHF, UNICEF & WFP with total of more than 5 million dollars. Some of projects were implemented in Consortium modality with National and International organization such as Practical Action (British INGO), PLAN Sudan (British INGO), OXFAM (American INGO) and TOD (local NGO).Most of projects were designed for Provision of Multi-Sectoral Integrated lifesaving health and nutrition services for vulnerable population. Other projects were health emergency projects such as Chikungunya outbreak project in Kassala 2018 as well as the annual flood response projects.Also, during this period, I was the Representative of the organization in CCM (Country Coordination Mechanism of the global Fund) & CSA (Civil Society Alliance) which is a part of SUN (Scaling Up Nutrition Network).
