Young People Service Manager
CurrentYoung Person's Services Manager Role OverviewLeadership & Management: Provide daily oversight and line management for Support Workers within Causeway's young person's services. Guide the team to achieve tangible outcomes aligned with Causeway’s mission and funder requirements.Team Development: Manage and develop the Young Person’s team, enhancing their skills, knowledge, and understanding to improve performance.Policy & Procedure: Keep informed on sector policies, review and update internal policies, and ensure alignment with best practices. Collaborate with the Head of Business Development on policy updates.Contract & Performance Management: Lead contract monitoring meetings, prepare accurate reports, and ensure staff understand service objectives and their roles. Develop and review KPIs for continuous improvement.Client & Service Management: Support client involvement and ensure compliance with occupancy agreements. Focus on trauma-informed and psychologically informed principles in service delivery.Safeguarding & Risk Management: Lead on safeguarding and risk management, ensuring client data accuracy and compliance. Work with the Finance team on budget and expenditure management.Team Dynamics & HR: Promote diversity and equality, oversee recruitment, set performance targets, and conduct regular supervisions and appraisals. Ensure clear communication through regular meetings.Staff Support & Health & Safety: Manage workload, provide direct support to young people when necessary, and ensure team members' health and safety. Implement office safety procedures and manage disciplinary actions as needed.Personal Development: Continuously review personal performance, seek training opportunities, and act on areas for improvement.General Duties: Adhere to Causeway’s policies, cover for colleagues, and participate in meetings and additional duties as required.
