Lead a team of automation testers in the RTA lab at Crows Nest.

Automation Testing - RTA (December 2008 – present)For DRIVES using Compuware’s QARun and responsible for - Analysis, Design and Scripting of new automation test scenarios. This also includes maintaining old scenarios impacted due to application changes. -Regression testing using the test automation suite.-Reporting defects and tracking them to closure -Assist building and maintaining of E-Business test automation using Odin Technology’s Axe and Compuware’s Test Partner.Pillar Administration (October 2008 – December 2008)I worked on the consultancy project with the Capital Industry Funds at the Pillar Administration with a focus on test process improvement.

I worked on the ATO change program. This project has focused on client service improvements with the introduction of Siebel for contact management.The most important aspect of this project is replacing the core tax processing systems of the ATO with a single, integrated core processing (ICP) solution.

My primary responsibility was to provide lectures to undergraduates and post graduate students. I was also required to undertake research in the Wireless Telecommunications/DSP engineering. This has resulted in over 25 internationally peer-reviewed publications which included Journals and book chapters. Other responsibilities included the supervision of honors and masters students for thesis/final year projects. During this time I developed a number of software applications which were used in the laboratories for students to gain practical experience in the subjects studied. This also included hardware interfacing – such as micro-controllers called TINI boards.

The main focus of this PhD was the contribution of a new solution to help improve the overall Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of OFDM.
