I worked with various teams to offer IT Advisory services to a clients in the Financial Services sector. Some key engagements I was part of include:1. Carrying out comprehensive IT systems audits. Key responsibilities included the review of the IT security policies, performing infrastructure security review, General IT controls review and Applications control review.2. Performing data cleansing, migration, and reconciliation within a project management engagement. This involved developing data migration and cleansing strategies, enrichment of data held in the legacy systems, data migration from the legacy systems and providing assurance on the overall data migration process.3. Performing a software license audits. This involved reviewing the software license inventory, providing software entitlements management and ensuring the IT software assets are properly acquired, registered and utilized to guarantee a lean IT software portfolio.

Worked as part of the data and analytics to team to deliver client solutions around the following key areas.1. Enabling clients to transition to the IFRS 9 standard. My primary role being to review the systems and data from clients to ensure compliance with the IFRS 9 standard. I also provided data analytics services to enable clients to navigate data related challenges when implementing the IFRS 9 standard and provide assurance on accurate financial reporting as per the standard. 2. Developing Alteryx models for clients to automate their reporting process under IFRS 9.3. Using UIPath and Python, I built an automation tool that collated emails sent based on the specific filters (sender, subject and date). The data was the structured and formatted into an Excel output that fed into a QlikView dashboard.4. Built and maintained PowerBI and QlikView dashboards for client and management consumption.5. Worked as part of the incubator team tasked with developing software assets for the firm, both internal and client-facing solutions.
