Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Current-Review and approve contractor’s mechanical shop drawings, As-built drawings, calculations, material submittals and operation & maintenance manuals.-Witness contractors’ quality control inspections (IR) to ensure that the works are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings and specifications.-Approving materials inspections requests when materials arrive in store (MIR) before being installed on site.-Review contractors’ mechanical quality assurance and quality control programs, inspection and test plans, installation, testing, and as-built procedures, for all mechanical systems.-Coordinate with other departments to obtain required support and ensure that there are no clashes between services on site.-Raise site instructions for incorrect work going on site and provide response and technical solutions to RFI’s raised by Contractors.-Attending weekly meetings between the Client, consultant and contractor.
