•Modeling, control and supervision algorithms of Hybrid renewable energy systems with hydrogen storage.•Establishing new mathematical & IT tools to control and distribute the energy generated by the wind turbin and the solar panels between the fuel cell, the battery.•Development of a configurable real-time diagnoser algorithm•Draft technical specifications and installing the experimental testbed (fuel cell/battery/electrolyzer/wind turbin and solar panels) •Test and validation of the proposed model based control and the energy management on the testbed.•Test and validation of real-time diagnoser algorithm on the testbed.•Over 10 publications in international conferences and scientific journals of rank A•Preliminary results leading up to public funding for the testbed.•Final results invitation to join an European project (Netherlands, Germany, UK...)
