I am a formulation scientist experienced in developing high quality solid dosage form products according the concept of quality by design (QbD) and computational pharmaceutics.My expertise includes: enhancement of solubility and bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs; orodispersible dosage forms (tablets and films); controlled release drug delivery systems; ocular drug delivery systems; nanotechnology ; colon targeting; microencapsulation; niosomal drug delivery systems; mucoadhesive drug delivery systems; application of physiologically based pharmacokinetic modelling in formulation development.I am highly interested in advanced computer programs used in different stages of pharmaceutical development ( ADMETPredictor® , DDDPlus®, GastroPlus®, Kinetica®).Indeed, I have good hand on experience on various drug development skills related to drug preformulation and formulation including: DSC, FTIR, X-Ray Diffraction, size determination; Zeta Sizer and Image Analyzer, UV/Vis Spectroscopy, dissolution testing..etc.Currently, I am an assistant professor of pharmaceutics (formulation of drug delivery systems) in the faculty of pharmacy, Al Wadi University.
