As an Associate within the Real Estate Finance Division (REFD), I navigated complex transactions. I oversaw a $750 million portfolio catering to national and regional developers, homebuilders, and REITs. In this role, I engaged directly with C-suite executives and high-net-worth individuals, managing their credit needs and evaluating incoming opportunities to align with the bank's targets and regulatory guidelines. I originated and underwrote over $283 million in new opportunities, leveraging market analysis to gauge valuations, risks, and borrower strength while creating accurate proformas. Collaborating with Relationship Managers (RMs), I ensured continuous portfolio evaluation within risk margins and covenants, all while seamlessly coordinating multifaceted deals involving clients, legal entities, appraisers, and external consultants. As the first point of contact for clients, I also liaised to provide ancillary services like letters of credit, corporate cash management, and private wealth management to high-net-worth individuals.

As a Staff Accountant in the Toronto BAC business unit, I underwent audit foundations training to learn the KPMG methodology. My group specialization was FIRE (Financial Institutions and Real Estate). Within the 4 months I was part of the Toronto team, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of intensive yet rewarding engagements alongside some of Canada's big 5 banks, investment banking leaders, and pension funds. Mentored by the amazing leadership provided by my seniors, managers and partners, we successfully delivered engagements within time-sensitive targets, surpassing client expectations and providing valuable insights throughout the process.

As the Managing Director, I was tasked with spearheading the program alongside my fellow MD's and LCD's (Lead Consulting Directors). We initially conducted a market analysis of London and began to contact businesses whom we could build strategic partnerships with by offering our consulting expertise and, in turn provide an engaging and valuable experience for our consultants to apply their skillsets and develop from. Alongside attracting businesses, we underwent a rigorous and competitive consultant hiring process each year. Over 150+ applicants apply annually and my direct team personally interviewed almost 75, to narrow down the 24 esteemed consultants that shall be from the Western and Ivey student body, all of which hold valuable interdisciplinary insights. Prior to deploying these consultants into the field, we underwent a series of thorough, personalized, and hands-on training meetings to ensure our consultants are equipped with the analytical and professional tools they need. This continues throughout the year alongside progress reports, evaluations and support needed from the Directors of the club. After retaining clients such as Gracie Barra Ju-Jitsu and David E White Clothiers, we then act as a liaison between the consultants and clients throughout the semester. We ensure that the client's needs are being fully addressed and they are getting exactly the solutions they need for their businesses to prosper.

We tried to provide complete and detailed solutions by first diagnosing customer's specific business needs from personal interviews, industry research and aggregate customer response data.We then created a comprehensive action plan that includes; situation analyses and problem identification, short and long term implementations, risk mitigation methods and finally contingency plans.

As a Pre-sell Intern, I had the opportunity to implement provincial/national advertising and sales initiatives within Southwestern Ontario, acquire new clients in the small/large format retail space and restaurant foodservice sectors, all while retroactively analyzing clients and making procurement and purchasing recommendations. It all started with a holistic rotational-based training program that allowed me to observe and participate in each process that allows Pepsi to deliver service excellence to its customers. I have witnessed the skills needed for successful manufacturing, warehousing, sales, delivery and merchandising. This has allowed me to highlight key success factors that a pre-sell rep would face in their daily client-facing scenarios and implement them into my own sales strategy model. With the vast product portfolio that PepsiCo has to offer, it requires a deep understanding of the retail space to be able to make tailored recommendations for clients. Understanding product adjacencies, seasonal and market-propelled demand forecasting and inventory management are all crucial to ensure that customers and consumers of PepsiCo alike, receive a consistent experience that is second to none. As the Co-President of DECA U Western, it was my joint responsibility to drive the club into new frontiers by leading the executive team of Vice Presidents and the general members, whilst also sitting on the executive council of presidents for DECA U Ontario. As per our campaign platform, Caitlin and I increased general membership by 25% over last years already record-breaking number, established formidable and sustainable corporate partnerships for our largest events such as INC, and made sure DECA U Western continues its path of competitive excellence at Provincial and International Competitions. At Provincials 2018 we saw DECA U Western won the title for the most awarded chapter for the 2nd year running. Elected President March 24th, 2017

As the Vice President of Operations, I coordinated and prepared chapter events and meetings. This required me to collaborate alongside governing authoritative bodies such as the University Students Council (USC) and the Western Room and Banquet Booking Committee to follow all protocols. This requires an individual event proposal and budget outline for every meeting. I also collected, safeguarded and processed a variety of sensitive information, legal documents and payments from chapter delegates to the DECA U HQ or the USC. Additionally, as a VP, I also recruit, train and lead a team of 12 Directors who work alongside myself to complete all necessary tasks to ensure the smooth operation of one of Western campus's largest professional business clubs. As the Vice-President of Programming I worked cohesively with the Co-Chairs of the conference and a team of Programming Directors to make sure that all delegates of the ACE conference have the best experience possible. During the planning process for the conference we invite some of the most renowned industry speakers to present both keynote and workshop presentations, requiring us to use Ivey alumni relations and our own networks to attain the best talent possible. We try to include a variety of business and entrepreneurial areas for students to develop from with events and workshops surrounding Finance, Marketing, CSR, HR and Technological Integration. Once speakers have been invited and secured, we than plan and timetable one of Westerns largest undergraduate conferences, organize caterers and create the Keynotes, Delegate Packages and Promotional materials. All throughout the process, we make sure that no detail is overlooked and always expect the unexpected so that we may retroactively solve any issues that occur, creating contingencies so that we ensure the smoothest and experience possible for all attendees.

As DECA Chapter President in my senior year of high school I led, taught and trained the chapter alongside other members of the executive team and the Chapter Supervisors. Weekly meetings were prepared and designed to provide insightful, relate-able and thorough lessons on key business concepts, presentation skills and business case preparation. I integrated new chapter members by planning events such as chapter dinners and fundraisers along side providing personal feedback and guidance whenever needed.Outside of my senior year I also participated in DECA Ontario as a nonexecutive member for two years.

As a Co-op Student in the Accounting department of the Delta London Armouries Hotel, I undertook a variety of routine bookkeeping procedures to produce financial statements. I compiled, tracked and paid invoices along with requesting purchase orders to keep the hotel inventory of catering and restaurant supplies up to operational levels. I assisted with the collection of overdue commercial customer accounts and aided the sales department to manage customer catering, banquet and wedding accounts.
