- I investigated the impact of preselection of selection candidates on the subsequent evaluation of preselected animals using single-step genomic evaluation models. - I found out that subsequent single-step evaluation of preselected animals prevents preselection bias, and that genotypes of preculled animals are only needed in subsequent single-step evaluations of their preselected sibs if some of their parents are not genotyped.
