Manage all activities, staff and facilities that are involved or associated with the company’s core business operations. This includes recommendations on staff remuneration, promotion, demotion, hiring, and suspension of staff in coordination with the Human Resources Manual.Head of planning, supervision, monitoring of company’s core business operations and activities.Authorize and control operations related spending in coordination with Finance and Accounts Management (FAM).Verify and approve the company’s outgoing invoices in line with the Instruments of Authority.Develop policies and procedures to guide core operations activities to ensure high efficiency, productivity and customer (client) satisfaction.Periodically review, evaluate, assess and improve core operations policies and procedures.Develop staff improvement and motivation strategies in relation to core business operations i.e. Job Rotation, Staff Training, Upgrading, Promotion etc…Develop Core Operations (Forwarding and Logistics) training and work procedure Manuals and revise and review periodically to improve the functioning of Core operations department.Manage departments’ budgetary allocation and ensure compliance to the budget within the department.Consolidate and comprehensively report on all Core Operations activities in the company to Management.Provide informed, educated and professional advice to all sub ordinates in this department on all issues relating to the core business activities of the company.Responsible for preparing consolidated reports on all core operational activities (from within and branches nationwide) relevant for management decision making e.g. Evaluation, Performance, Procedures, strategies, Policies, Financial etc…

Analyze business processes: Conducts Business Analysis with an analytical view on performance according to the KPIs including Operational Metrics and Voice of the Customer indicators. Identify improvement potential and launch process optimization activities. Business Process Optimization: Drives continuous improvement by applying Process Improvement Standards (First Choice, Lean, Six Sigma) to solve issues brought forward by business analysis. Business Process Management: Drives continuous improvement and optimization through harmonization and standardization. Manages process and design ensuring consistency across the business. Process Bench marking/Replication: Facilitates best practice sharing across regions and with external market; provides project implementation support to country stakeholders. Project and Program Management: For transition programs and transformation improvement/best-practice projects; building business cases; PMO ; Communications ; Change management ; benefits realization ; ensure agreed governance is in place and improved process is implemented and documented in QMS.Performance Management: Defines operational and strategic KPIs. Sets up end-to-end performance measurement and auditing of KPIs and SLAs. Provides input for target setting. Specifies policies, procedures and tools to be used for performance management.
