As a Technology Technician at Mayfield School, I support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in technology subjects, such as design and engineering. I manage the maintenance and operation of various equipment and software, such as Tekla Structural Designer, AutoCAD, and Revit, and assist students and staff with technical issues and queries. I also contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures in the technology department.I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Wales, where I gained a solid foundation in the principles and practices of civil engineering, such as structural analysis, geotechnics, and hydraulics. I also developed strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, which I apply in my current role and in my continuous learning. I enjoy using online platforms, such as LinkedIn Learning and Skillshare, to keep learning new skills and software, such as Civil 3D. My goal is to pursue a career in civil engineering and use my technical and practical knowledge to create innovative and sustainable solutions for various engineering challenges.
