Providing advice in the formulation of analysis and recommendation for Indonesia's multilateral policy strategy , with the focus on economic and environmental issues. As the lead Indonesian negotiator, promoting Indonesia's interest while bridging difference and forging consensus in the negotiation of Agriculture chapter of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework.

Representing Indonesia in various multilateral deliberation on peace and security including: disarmament in all its aspects, non-traditional security issues such as counter-terrorism, country-specific situations, disarmament, peacekeeping, and UNSC reform. Coordinating the work of the disarmament working group of the Non-Aligned Movement that would contribute to peace and security of the world.

Review as well as make recommendation on policy and strategic issues concerning Indonesia-US relations in the political and security fields, including its regional and global implications. Formulate and implement cooperation initiatives to address common interests which requires extensive inter-agency coordination and bilateral consultations at many levels, covering diverse issues such as: counter-terrorism, defense, legal assistance, maritime security & safety, cyberspace cooperation.

Providing support to the APEC's Business Mobility Group (BMG) and Tourism Working Group (TWG) in facilitating business travel within the APEC and enhancing tourism as an important economic driver in APEC.

Focal point of contact at the APEC Secetariat for matters relating to the APEC 2013 year hosted/chaired by Indonesia. Responsibility includes but not limited to ensuring that APEC process aligns to Indonesia's priorities as the Chairman. HER was required to be able to translate high-level guidance into actual steps and APEC projects across different fields and sectors. HER liaised the APEC Secretariat with the office of the Indonesian APEC Senior Official.

ensuring that materials regarding Indonesia's Infrastructure public policy in Indonesian are mistake-free, easy to understand, and consistent in style.

Responsible for capacity building program under APEC and NAASP, and for parliamentary cooperation in the Asia-Pacific and Africa such as the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, and the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum. Supporting the Indonesian parliamentary members in their international engagement with other parliaments within the Asia-Pacific Region.

Looking after the development of politico-security cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region within the framework of the ASEAN Regional Forum, especially on four priority areas of cooperation: disaster relief, maritime security, counter-terrorism and transnational crime, and non-proliferation and disarmament.

Economic Function (2005-2006) representing and promoting Indonesia's economic interests in Germany: communicating economic policies especially on trade and investment to German audience, informing Indonesian policy makers of economic development for policy recommendations, liaising the regional governments from both countries; and many more.Participating as members and/or advisors to the Indonesian delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the United Nations Convention on Combatting Desertification.Socio-Cultural Function (2006-2008) promoting Indonesian culture and social interests in Germany as well as providing information to public and media; working together with Indonesia-related civil societies in Germany.
