CTA at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust -oncology- GCP trained.Job role- My current job role involves alot of data entry, im working on g.i and breast cancers so entering data into ecrfs or paper crfs depending on the sponsors requirement. I work along side the nurses to provide accurate information by collating source data and various other data bases (patient pathway manager, case notes) together and providing it to sponsors. Also working to protocol and ICH/GCP guidlines. Im also the first point of contact for study monitors, sponsors and anyone who needs to know something about the trials i am working on. E.g if a monitor needs site staff to be trained i follow the relevent SOP and ensure its done on time and all the relevent documents are in order and filed away in the site master file. I maintain the site master files ensuring quality of each file is up to the required standard. Also essential that i manage my time and work load effectivly to get everything in on time as some trials are commercially sponsored. Processing amendments for the trials that i work on and also liasing with various health care professionals and departments such as R&D, pharmacy, histopathology on a daily basis to ensure trial protocol is being followed and everyone involved is aware of any changes. Furthermore working on my own initiative and as part of a team is vital to the job role. GCP trained.PAS (notes, appointment, patient tracking) Patient pathway manager trained.ECRF access and trained on INFORM and RAVE software. Im also a part time nhs 111 call handler - dispatching ambulances and offering potentially life saving advice over the phone. Working under pressure to meet the needs of the service and user to the best of my abilities. Im the first point of contact for patients and health care professionals.
