Worked on the development of Configuration Menu Licensed Internal Code (LIC) for the System/ 390 Mainframe Processor families. The Configuration Menu LIC is used to release a current configuration, configure and de-configure storage elements, central processors, and vector elements, initiate a Power on Reset of the processor complex, and dynamically modify the I/O capabilities of the system. I worked with hardware engineers to devise new ways of configuring storage for the ES/9121 processors, which resulted in many new customers' solutions.
