ITW Sports Branding Division manufactures heat transfer garments for the sport industry, this is team badges, printed logos, t-shirt numbers, ect. Their main costumers are Premier League, FC Barcelona, R Madrid, Nike, Adidas, et. al.As their R&D chemist, I am involved in product development: I have formulated new products, or changed existing formulations to complain with changing regulations or costumer requirements. I have been working mostly in water based systems. The role is basically experimental, and I am involved in all steps of the process, from laboratory and pilot plant development to factory scale-up trials.

Ecotermix manufactures components for the building industry, more specifically polyols, for the polyurethane industry.I worked there as an R+D technician, basically I was in charge of the synthesis department. This is, making new polyols, evaluating and developing analogues of the products of our concurrency, improving of the products already in the company's portfolio, etc. I did laboratory and pilot plant work most of the time, but sometimes, contacted customers for product characteristics/performance issues, problem solving, customizing/ modification, etc.I did the quality control part, as well. Analyzing raw materials, manufactured goods, etc... Finally, I worked in permanent contact with the factory, controlling processes, industrial trials, trouble-shooting, and so on...

Lasenor manufactures food additives, specifically, emulsifiers (E numbers).I worked there for four years, doing the following tasks: development of new products, improvement of products already in the company's portfolio, quality control of manufactured goods, evaluation of the competence’s products, supervision of industrial manufacture of new products, and mostly of all, synthesis in laboratory and pilot plant.
