Helped the company earn $5mm Series A round of funding with work completed the version 1.0 of the SportsLock iOS app. Worked with the team to create version 2.0 from start-to-finish in less than 3 months to launch before Football season 2015.

Managed a team of developers and work closely with the CEO to ensure a solid mobile user experience for iOS. SportsLock is a customizable fantasy sports experience where users draft players in bracket-based tournaments for real money against friends. Helped to raise over $2mm in funding with previous products (Lock for iOS) and SportsLock 1.0 demo app.

Taught students on the ins and outs of mobile design for the current common mobile platforms. Students take an in-depth look at the differences and the similarities of the platforms, what to focus on, and how to build engaging mobile experiences.

Update to the Fly Delta iPhone app to version 2.1. This work involved fixing a lot of issues using the results from Crashlytics, implementing better ways to do common tasks that may have caused crashing. Updates also added a better user experience with UI updates and Facebook sharing functionality.

I worked with AKQA’s DC development team to create an award winning mobile app for Delta Air Lines. and a separate app for the USPS. The Fly Delta app allows for checkin to flights, purchasing upgrades, viewing your trip history, and much more. I have worked on many sections of the app including, purchase summary (cart), trip extras, special services, receipt history, and first class upgrades.

Worked to help create a standard process in the agency’s new Interactive Design department and begin to integrate the new processes with the rest of the agency. I architected content for mobile applications and websites by creating wireframes for interactivity.I have proven skills in solving business problems with creative technological solutions, taking into account UX, design, and functionality.

Architected and authored two enterprise-level frameworks called eVE (Electronic Visualization Engine), one in ActionScript 3 and one in Objective-C, to facilitate development of applications for tablet PC and iPad – which has been distributed to over 2,000 pharmaceutical sales reps.

I completed a Flash-based trivia game to be distributed on a CD.Worked closely with the Associate Director to begin the groundwork for a few high profile projects, including the one that became the eVE Flex framework for tablet PCs.

Transitioned website from custom PHP framework to WordPress

Built the NWR brand, from the ground up, to convey a modern and professional company reporting on the latest game-related news from its home-grown roots by designing wireframes, layouts, and HTML/CSS mockups for two separate redesigns of the heavily trafficked website. I was challenged by the staff to accept new ways of thinking to optimize viewing of the site’s most important asset; the content.

Produced wireframes, prototypes and the user experience for the Cook Medical e-commerce system.

I worked with various educators, support staff, and scientists to redesign and develop a PHP-based website for the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility. I met with various staff members to learn how the facility operated to create a unique accessable website for the IU cyclotron.
