I participated in building an e-commerce platform from scratch with a team of 3 engineers. My work consisted of backend programming (Python, Django, DRF, PostgreSQL, Typesense) and DevOps (AWS resources), with some minor participation in front-end development.- I contributed to most of the platform's architectural decisions- Implemented concurrent, low-latency microservice applications - Designed and developed data models with efficient database schemas- Built a multi-vendor system that connects product sellers and buyers.​​- Maintained code integrity, organization, versioning, and applied object-oriented design principles.- Wrote unit tests and integration tests to improve code quality using Django test tools.- Brainstormed with peers and stakeholders to identify areas of improvement.- Conducted code reviews and refactoring which reduced technical debt and improved maintainability.- Set up real-time monitoring for incident detection which enabled swift response and bug fixes in production.- Automated development to testing environment and production with CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, AWS ECR, and AWS ECS
