About Ian Chisnall

I am a sales & business development specialist working in the Audio Visual industry who has been described as an energetic and versatile facilitator across a range of roles. I have been a campaigner and have worked collaboratively across a range of social and geographical contexts. I'm passionate about the use of partnerships to solve challenges and work as a communicator and team player mostly with a sense of humour, taking responsibility and I've been told I can encourage and motivate others. As an engineer I am an instinctive problem solver with extensive experience in networking and establishing links with local, regional and national governmental bodies, businesses and the voluntary sector. A leader in local Government once described me as "one of the most fearless speakers of truth to power that I have had the pleasure to work with and have always delivered tough messages with a twinkle in your eye". Mark Littlewood, Director General of the Institute of Economic Affairs once referred to me as “Another smug, whiney, ill informed, statist, “know it all”, pompous, up themselves, utterly pathetic, left wing lunatic”
