While specialising in the installation and maintenance of Avaya IP Office, maintenance of Avaya/Nortel BCM and BrightSign digital signage players we can also supply, install and maintain cabling, wired and wireless networking equipment from Cambium, Cisco Meraki, Xirrus and Ubiquiti, racking, cooling and UPS from APC, Cyberpower and Eaton.We are partners with the following carriers:AAPT Business ConnectBendigo TelcoSEQ TelcoTelstraVocusand still have strong ties to Optus through their Channel network so we can arrange the most suitable connections for our customers. Current customers are organisations of various sizes including local charities and not-for-profits, state and local governments, major carriers and national organisations in various areas including healthcare, leisure and retail.We utilise a national network of trusted subcontractors to enable installation and maintenance of systems in most parts of Australia and have sent fully programmed systems (Avaya BCM and IP Office) overseas to allow the customers to install it themselves. The systems are supported remotely from Brisbane.

I got head hunted to this new role managing the Category C (complex) porting process for all customers moving their numbers across to Optus in Queensland and Northern Territories and later expanded to cover Australia.In this time I made considerable contributions to process development and systems implementation as well as reducing the time taken to get a customers numbers Ported across. I was unofficial 2 I/C for the group and took over the helm when the boss was on leave or ill.

In the Outsourcing section in Fortitude Valley initially looking after all the same QLD Govt customers as at Pacific Star and then contributing to the tenders to bring on board customers such as MIM, ATO & Century Mines.Implemented many new processes and procedures as the organisation developed.Seconded for about 6 months in 2001 to start Local Number Porting for Queensland and Northern Territory.

Located in Optus Vision in the Fortitude Valley office. Designing solutions for business customers who wanted to implement pay TV from Optus - mostly motels.Contrbuted heavily to the project for introducing telephony on the Pay TV network.My biggest project was an 8 channel analogue head-end design for Wesley Hospital at Auchenflower serving some 1100 TV's (that all had to be retuned for the additional channels...)

Located at the Brisbane HO - 307 Queen St working with two other Project Managers to bring 35000 extensions for Queensland Government off a number of PABX's across to Telstra's Spectrum (Centrex) product.I was also the sole Project Manager for the conversion of some 5000 extensions for Energex off a number of PABX's across Brisbane to Telstra Spectrum.Contributed to the WA Government facilities management project (Comms West) and had some input to the Optus Centrex project using similar equipment to Telstra.In conjunction with the programmers at Telstra that we worked closely with, I became very familiar with Centrex translations in the DMS-100 platform - specifically those concerning ACD & UCD groups and the reporting systems for them.Also became familiar with the Octel VMX series voicemail system that was based at AAPT.
