(i) to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, its campuses and other engineering, pharmaceutical and technology educational institutes in India;(ii) to establish an incubation centre to support and encourage innovative technology startups in the areas of chemical, pharmaceutical, biological science and technology as well as in the field of education and education technology;(iii) to provide startups with necessary guidance, funds, technological support, infrastructure, access to investors, networking, and facilitating a host of other resources that may be required for the startups to survive and scale;(iv) to assist startups in creating sustainable, scalable and profitable business models;(v) to provide physical infrastructure and value-added support services to startups;(vi) to create a network of mentors who would provide sector specific knowledge and real-world practical guidance to startups;(vii) to conduct events and inspirational programmes for startups;(viii) to provide trainings and mentorship to startups and entrepreneurs;(ix) to forge partnerships and networks with academia, industry, funding sources, existing incubators and others for the startups to leverage;(x) to enable access to prototyping facilities, test beds, markets, and pilot implementation for the startups’ products and services;(xi) to appoint and build a strong team with adequate knowledge and experience in guiding startups, building business plans, facilitating investments, building networks and the like;(xii) to collaborate with corporate sector entities and research / academic institutions to promote and encourage innovations and inventions leading to startup formation;
