我们与平权 Wequality is a grassroots organization that started in November 2016 dedicated to raising awareness of gender inequality in China and empowering Chinese women and men to unite to make gender equality a reality. We publish original articles on feminism every week through the WeChat Subscription account, organize offline discussions every other week and online reading group discussions every month, organize lectures on common knowledges. We publish reports based on individual experiences to discuss various gender related issues such as sexual harassment, gender discrimination and gender-based occupational segregation. We conduct gender awakening workshops to various groups to raise awareness of gender inequality in China, motivate and mobilize people to join the movement. We also maintain WeChat Groups to create a positive environment for in-depth discussions on challenging gender related issues and to empower the community.
