Ioannis is a Physicist with postgraduate and postdoctoral research in Material Science and Surface Science. He is an experienced Project Manager for national and international research activities in the areas of Information & Communication Technologies and Business Development. He designs and implements successfully for 15+ years European co-funded R&D projects under different frameworks (FP7, H2020, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg) for public and private organizations in a wide range of thematics like ICT, space, educational, environmental, and societal ones.In the past, he obtained valuable experience while collaborating with newspapers, magazines and publishing companies achieving a good command of coordinating also cultural/environmental or development national projects and events. Ultrathin and thin metallic film development on semiconducting substrates in ultra high vacuum environment (UHV).
