iKnow is an SaaS company that produces e-learning courses, specifically aimed at managers and we provide a learning platform where all our courses can be accessed at any time. Our client base consists of many municipalities and counties in Sweden but also companies. The objective of my role in the company is to make sure that our clients get the most out of the service that we provide for them, and to help them achieve their goals when it comes to competence development for their staff. Together with my clients HR-representatives I plan and execute training projects using our e-learning platform. I also provide statistics of usage of our courses, make sure that new users gain access to the platform, onboard new clients, demonstrate usage of the platform, etc.

Acolad provides multilingual learning services that range from digital, mobile, virtual meetings all the way to face-to-face training, and to various tailored hybrid solutions. My job was to plan, coordinate and manage our clients training assignments. My duties also included recruiting language trainers, induction of newly hired trainers, reporting of attendance and held classes in our portal, etc. Acolad is among the largest language service providers in the Nordics, with offices in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Our service portfolio helps companies to be seen and understood through translation and localization for all types of content, tailored face-to-face and digital learning solutions for any training need, and marketing content production for every channel.

Since 2000, LanguageWire has built a reputation for delivering quality multilingual content and superior technology solutions. As project manager I was responsible for managing multiple translation projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities and tasks included: reviewing documents received (various lengths and formats), allocating them to appropriate translators and proofreaders, managing translation schedules, quality control and review of completed documents, and following up with clients and customers. I have also been involved in a variety of projects aiming to improve our platform, develop the cooperation with our freelance translators, improve and define expectations for cooperation between project managers and project coordinators, etc. I was also the in-house auditor for the ISO standard.Today, LanguageWire enjoys a leading position amongst language service providers worldwide. When using LanguageWire’s online platform, customers have access to a global network of over 5,000 language experts, including translators, proofreaders, copywriters, DTP engineers and voiceover artists.

My tasks included writing content for the webpage, making updates in social media, writing newsletters and creating ads and printed matter such as menus, signs, etc.

I was in charge of group reservations for schools, businesses and organisations, as well as selling tickets over the counter and on the phone.
