The work is an extension on the research on my doctoral research and addresses 3D-modelling of level ice interacting with a wide sloping structure in shallow water.

The article-based doctoral thesis studies ice-structure interaction against wide, sloping structures in shallow water. The work is based on model-scale ice experiments and numerical simulations. Besides conducting research, the work included theoretical studies (40 ECTS), functioning as a teaching assistant on the course ”ice loads on structures” and acting as a supervisor for 4 bachelor’s theses. The period 01/2019–12/2019 of the doctoral degree was founded by and completed in the company Aker Arctic Technology Oy.

Production of silicon wafers with automatic and semi-automatic machines, control of process quality and registration of produced wafers in the productions database system. The traineeship was completed in the etching department in a clean room.
