My research focused on water-resources modelling and uncertainty estimation. I've mainly been working in Central America but also the Lake Victoria basin in Africa. Specific topics have been climate variability and techniques for interpolation of precipitation, estimation of discharge uncertainty using time-variable rating curves, and model calibration, evaluation and regionalisation using flow-duration curves.
