Project Consultant (Contract)
The reuse of end-of-life tyres in the manufacturing process is analysed with Computational fluid dynamics.-A nozzle with a cavitating flow is designed to have high outlet velocity with low inlet pressure.-Design/ optimisation of nozzle for water jet components considering the overall system requirements-Simulated the cavitation water jet to investigate end- of-life tyres' micronisation and computed the powdered tyre's size range and cavitation efficiency.-Drag and aero thermal simulations on tyres with different tread patterns were analysed and optimised using fluid-structure interaction FSI.-Supported the team in assessing different external simulation packages considering the efficiency and fidelity of the platform, which suits the company verification strategy the best-Contributed to new product development in the investigation of acoustic noise.
