Aarikka is a well-known Finnish interior design and jewelry company founded in 1954. Pls read more at: https://www.aarikka.com/pages/about-us I was responsible for the supply chain at Aarikka leading a team of 3 employees in production planning and logistics and dozens of seasonal/part-time workers. My team took care of inhouse production and producing the products at homeworkers (jewelry) and workshops promoting social inclusion and employment (home decoration products). I also took care of raw material purchasing and strategic procurement as a part of my job.My work was very versatile with focus on a smoothly running process of inbound and outbound products. Focusing on LEANing the production and building good supplier relationships led to significantly shorter lead-times and lower TCO. During 2017 we managed to turn years of negative turnover to a profitable business with our small enthusiastic team at Aarikka.

Logonet is one of Finland's leading companies in contract manufacturing and promotional products. The company was founded in 1992 and has offices all around the world and a strong presence in Asia. My work consisted of product management and purchasing of custom-made consumer products, POS and textiles from Asia and Europe for the biggest accounts. During the three years my work took a more strategic approach via contract negotiations, supplier spend recognition, stock turnover analysis and product offering management. I also developed new processes for stock-alarms, cost-profit-calculations and automatic deliveries based on contracts.Responsibilities:- all stock- based purchasing for B2B and B2C customers including retail and license products- developing accessories and apparel collections with designers- analyzing and taking actions based on strategic KPI's like stock turnover, supplier spend- product and collection management together with account management for several global brands- Nordic Special Ad Group's purchase coordinating- logistics and outsourced stock partners- contract negotiations with key-suppliers- social responsibility and product safety- attending fairs and courses to keep on top of trends, product safety, materials etc.

I had 2 subordinates in the out-bound sales team, I organized their sales projects and tracked and analyzed results. One of my main tasks was developing relationships with our key accounts and giving presentations in addition to developing all print and e-marketing material. My contract was ended due to the economical situation of the company.

E.S.T.’s activities were down-sized in 2011 due to the recession and since then I've been working full-time elsewhere.
