Conduct tours of the museum for middle school, high school, and college classes. Groups ranged from 15 – 50 students. Research the major aspects, laws, leaders, and events that occurred during the Holocaust through primary and secondary sources. Inform guests on the history of the Holocaust, beginning with antisemitism, the rise of the Nazi party, concentration camps, World War II, Liberation, and the importance of tolerance and respect. Greet guests at the front desk and provide them with museum information.Transcribed Holocaust survivor testimonies for the museum website.

Researched primary and secondary documents to create contextual documents for the commission’s existing 8 Stages of Genocide lesson plan and an in-progress lesson plan for the Texas Liberators Oral History Project. Database development - added schools and individuals to a database of important Texas school contacts for the commission to reach out to through education programs. Gathered resources (mostly web) related to genocide, bullying, and the Holocaust, and developed a document listing the sources as well as providing a summary of each one and why they are important for educators and students alike.
