• Assess & cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with Directors, Managers, end users & other stakeholders.
• Direct, organise & lead projects for implementation & use of new BI software tools & systems
• Promote BI benefits and usage across the organisation
• Initiating the use of PowerBI and rolling this out as the BI tool of choice for the organisation
• Engaging and Training users to gain data insights using PowerBI
• Responsible for the SQL Server Estate (installation / backups / restores / replication)

Manage and maintain the organisational SQL Database Servers and provide Business Intelligence (B.I.) for the organisation. The B.I. is provided in various forms through SSIS, SSRS or Crystal Reports. Liaising and working with staff at all levels as well as third parties worldwide to source and fulfill system/data requirements.

Sourced system requirements and worked on the full systems lifecycle to provide database solutions based on the requriements. Most of the projects were created using MS Access.

In this large conglomerate I worked as part of the Systems team to ensure that all systems were working, providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support. I also redesigned and developed existing databases and systems creating intelligent solutions which streamlined workflows.
