Expo is an open-source platform to make universal native apps for Android, iOS, and the web using JavaScript and React. We work on both the Expo platform and Expo's cloud services, which take care of building your app, deploying instant updates, and sending notifications for all of the underlying platforms where your app runs. Site performance and product infrastructure.

Designed a small DSL and program synthesizer that automatically creates programs to perform repetitive tasks.

Revamped the code base for a mini-browser, developed a new project on reactive programming, and ported the parser-generator infrastructure to Google App Engine.

Built a website for computing educators with the TECH (Technology that Educators of Computing Hail) group as part of an NSF-funded education initiative.

Developed a reward system for Google Local in which users are awarded “souvenirs” for their ratings and reviews of places. Defined the product with UX designers and built the user interface with Google Closure tools and Google Guice.

Created the Family Search product, a search index of users' last names. Built a back end for efficient database lookup and designed a user interface with SEO improvements to further spur site growth. Integrated Social CAPTCHAs into the account recovery process for phished users.

Built a team site in Plone, prototyped Urchin and WebTrends Analytics software across several intranet sites and targeted problems to present an evaluation to management, and administered a Google Search Appliance to bring customized intranet search to the company.
