Group Lead - Structural Analysis Engineering
CurrentGroup lead of Structural Stress Analysis team.Supporting multiple projects STC modifications as well as experimental aircrafts. Some programs include:Universal Hydrogen Demonstrator:Modify a De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft by replacing a baseline turbo prop engine with a hydrogen powered electric motor.Rolls-Royce's Flying Testbed:Built on a 747-400 airframe, this state-of-the-art flying testbed is equipped with extensive instrumentation and systems to take sophisticated measurements of engine performance in flight. The modification will allow to test engines that power both commercial and business aircraft.Eviation:Structural and Finite Element Analysis of flights test instrumentation installation for the world's first all-electric commuter aircraft.Flexsys:Performance improvement modification of Air Force KC-135 wing.Create Internal Loads FEM of modified wing with new composite winglet.Assess effectiveness of morphing control surface used to alleviate loads on existing wing.Developed expertise using Siemens product suite like NX, Teamcenter and mainly Simcenter and NX Nastran.
