Kia ora! I'm an industrial designer and researcher with 9 years of experience, focusing on design strategy, customer and user research, human-centered problem solving, and delightful design outcomes. Why design? It's (for) the people! Everything about design for me is creating to serve people better. Innovation has been a core part of every role and business that I've worked within, and a significant focus of mine has been continually communicating user needs and the necessity of solving human-centered problems to create business value and market differentiation.Using both traditional design and research methodologies to develop designed solutions; innovation frameworks and strategic mapping to consider the landscape and climate to ensure solutions are considerate of the surrounding state of play. These methods help lead decisions that are less inwardly focused and instead look out to the world and consider what has been, what is, and what might be. Lastly, none of this happens in isolation. I believe in constant collaboration in order to continually challenge my own thinking and ideas. Without the wonderful people I've worked with, none of the above would have happened, and it's why I truly believe in building trusting relationships within teams that affords the space to elevate everyone.
