As an established finance professional with more than 10 years' experience in the banking and finance industry, I Dewa Gede Agung is pursuing his Master of Business Administration from the Katz to broaden his knowledge and skills. Drawing on his natural academic curiosity and appreciation for intellectual discussion, Dewa's mission is to apply his degree to enhance his career with his current employer Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI).Dewa has had a wide-range of responsibilities during his tenure with the state owned bank. These roles have included Subsidiaries Management and Corporate Action Officer. He provided over site of the business plans for the bank's subsidiaries (BRISyariah, BRI Agro, and BRI Remittance Hong Kong) and evaluated their performances. He coordinated collaboration between Bank BRI and its subsidiaries and saved over IDR 180 billion in capital expenditure by organizing over 600 sharing premises (branches) between Bank BRI and its subsidiary. Dewa participated in several M&A projects and was responsible for corporate non-M&A action such as bond issuance, capital injection, share buybacks, and stock split.Dewa is looking forward to the opportunities to learn more about banking, insurance, and finance and to share his professional experiences.
