“I diamond YOU” is a brand created as a hub to offer my experience buying gems.

In this role as consultant, I assisted gem dealers with sourcing stones in Myanmar and with the selling process through trade fairs at Hong Kong, Las Vegas and Basel.I acted as well as shopping companion to many private clients with specific gem requirements.

At Mauboussin I covered numerous responsibilities: Supplying Mauboussin’s watchmakers and jewellery manufacturers with all sorts of precious stones.Assisting Mr. Patrick Mauboussin with sourcing gems to tailor-made unique, personalized jewels, for his selective circle of clients.Appraising Mauboussin’s jewellery for insurance and inheritance purposes.Looking after the company’s relationship with auction houses.Building and achieving the introduction of branded Mauboussin’s GIA diamonds for engagement rings and defining the strategy to launch Mauboussin’s diamond bridal line to the Japanese market in cooperation with my then colleague Mr. Christophe Ranchoux (Mauboussin’s Asia-Pacific CEO) and currently owner of CYRworks Co. Japan.

With the inception of e-commerce in Europe as a revolutionary way of reaching a broader market, and with that purpose, I formed part of a team to set up an online jewellery store for Magnificent’s Signatures, Lançon SA, in Geneva.I assisted Avi Nathanel Diamonds Ltd from Tel Aviv with marketing solutions to better approach the future.

As a gem and jewellery consultant I was member of the team:Preparing jewels for cataloguing.Working in PROCLIN, an unique and innovative project to start up a “private sales – your time” clientele driven service.Assisting clients at all times, particularly during auctions by phone bidding.

Santorromán GemUniverse srl was my first entrepreneurial endeavour. GIA’s School for Europe was inaugurated in Vicenza - Italy in 1992 and after my studies and collaboration to set up the European GIA Alumni Association, I became a gem dealer.My main activities as owner of Santorromán GemUniverse were:Handling and purchasing gems in their country of origin as well as their selling in the Italian market.Assisting Mr. Fawaz Gruosi, DE GRISOGONO, during our trips to Sultanate of Brunei to supply the Royal Family’s Circle with special bespoke pieces of jewellery. Acting as a chartered gem and jewellery appraiser before the court of Vicenza. Exhibiting at Vicenza Oro.
