As a National Campaign Operations Director I manage a $3.1M Operations Budget, and support 425 Member Political Organizers across 26 states.I oversee six Regional Logistics Coordinators and ensured that the SEIU met Federal Elections Commission (FEC) 24 to 48 hour deadlines were met for independent expenditure work in the field. I also serve as a liaison for the Campaign Operations Team and manage interdepartmental communications across 37 departments to ensure the achievement of union-wide goals.Other duties include the vetting of healthcare vendors assigned to collaborate with the Campaign Operations Team, and meet with the Healthcare Consultant to ensure vendor quality control and to ensure the timely resolution of issues. I strengthened relationships with vendors, minimized issues, and created and distributed campaign materials. Additionally, I administered vendor contracts, and participated in contract renewal negotiations for SEIU national trainings. I also maintained SCORE, a QuickBase application, now used union-wide for daily reporting and budget tracking.

In this role I cultivated relationships with existing and prospective clients, and ensured effective liaison with BlueLabs analysts.I oversaw project development for individualized data-driven solutions, including BlueHQ, an online platform that integrates individualized persuasion scores and multi-medium voter contact methods, contributed to the standardization of marketing materials, and introduced systems designed to streamline interdepartmental operations and communications.

As a Statewide Field Director I managed a multi-million dollar statewide field budget, coordinated cross-channel voter contact targeting, and organized with community, labor, and constituency partners.I supervised 55 Senior Organizers in 8 regions throughout the state, and formulated a field strategy to boost voter support and turnout for progressive candidates throughout the state.Other duties included the development of a GOTV targeting plan, the creation of a voter contact schedule and the coordination of logistical operations for 16 GOTV staging sites. I also established, maintained, and managed statewide vendor relationships.Additionally, I designed strategic message outreach strategies, including bilingual outreach mailings and field programs, delivered daily morning statewide strategy briefings, and submitted nightly field reports.I created scripts for region and senate district canvassers, and designed campaign materials for We Are Wisconsin and Workers Voice programs.

In this role I coordinated with the Communications Department in developing and contributing to the briefing materials of the International President for internal and external meetings.I accompanied, briefed, and shadowed the International President, to ensure seamless communication with key stakeholders, and represented the President’s Office in professional correspondence and social media platforms. I also engaged with political, community and social justice organizations to link programs with the national SEIU priorities.In addition I launched the Green Initiative, which enabled real-time mobile access to critical reports and information, and led collaborations on special projects with local leaders, city officials, state partners, and potential donors, such as the Summer Jobs Initiative, and the early development of iAmerica.I also managed 20 staff on the National Bus Tour for Commonsense Immigration Reform with former International Secretary-Treasurer Eliseo Medina.

I managed resources for 17 municipal, county, state assembly and state senate campaigns in 12 cities within Hudson County, NJ, which included messaging, budgets, campaign materials, retail and community events.In addition, I oversaw fundraising operations for four candidates, organized a joint fundraising gala raising over $500K, the most raised for a Hudson County Democratic Organization event for its candidates through and annual gala, which resulted in deeper long-term relationships with community funders.In addition, I integrated NGP VAN, an online organizing, fundraising and digital tool for campaigns in order to manage committee fundraising goals, candidate call-time, and correspondence with funders.

In this position I worked with firm partners in all aspects of business management, budgeting and campaign operations, and focused primarily on targeting, voter contact, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) mobilization.
