Billing / Charging systems are core of any Communication Service Providers (CSP). Since the systems are integrated almost to all external or internall business services, interacting with many IT services. Working in this area and taking different operational responsibilities helped me to understand how the organization of a CSP works, both in terms of business and technology.Besides, I have leading role in defining International Roaming(IR) rules settings, IR billing and charging applications, roamers, solving inbound and outbound customer billing problems, billing testing before commercial openings with roaming partners, producing, transferring and monitoring of interoperator commercial billing files, reporting and tariff checking of billing files, relations with Data Clearing House.

Working in Nortel Netaş, one of the main telecomunications provider in world and Turkey helped me to understand how a product/solution creation end to end, besides strong technical skills I developed in product verification and testing. I mainly worked in the areas of protocols (#7 (TUP and ISUP), R2 signalling protocols, ISDN applications, subscriber services, line and trunk metering, tone measurements in DMS systems.Having a well established cultural values, Nortel Netaş helped me to develop strong understanding on cooperate conduct, team work and cooperation and communication which helped me later in being a good project manager.

It was a good experience to start my career as to be from first young engineers in a new established R&D center in a production company. I was designing and testing HW and SW of microcontroller based power electronics devices.
