As a part of the company’s management team, I assumed broader responsibilities beyond the scope of the VP Global Product role:- Oversight of the entire company’s product portfolio.- Certification & Compliance: Responsible for standard development activities and managing testing and compliance procedures for hardware and software products.- Integration and Professional Guidance: Provided strategic direction and oversight to regional product organizations across North America (NAM), Europe (EU), and international markets.

In this role, I directly managed five product teams (VP and director levels) responsible for the solar division’s global portfolio of hardware and software products across all lifecycle stages (sustain, development, and next-generation products).- Residential Products: Managed the portfolio of single-phase and three-phase inverters, power optimizers, battery products, consumption management and load controllers, Level 2 and 3 EV chargers, SolarEdge ONE for Resi (a residential energy optimization product), and mySolarEdge (a homeowner-facing mobile app).- C&I Products: Oversaw the portfolio of three-phase inverters, power optimizers, C&I-scale storage products, sensors and control equipment, and SolarEdge ONE for C&I—our first-of-its-kind streamlined energy optimization and O&M solution, developed through both organic growth and integration of acquired companies like Hark and Wevo Energy.- Optimized Utility Solutions: Managed the TerraMax DC-optimized ground-mount inverter and integrations with SolarGIK, our portfolio company.- SaaS and Platform: Directed a comprehensive portfolio of software products, including Monitoring (for streamlined O&M), Designer (for optimized SolarEdge system design), Go (a one-stop mobile app for installers), Grid Services/DERMs, API & partner products, UX teams, the SaaS platform, and associated shared services.- Product Operations: Oversaw the creation and implementation of end-to-end product lifecycle management processes

Worked with early and growth stage start-up companies in various fields. In particular:- Developed a go-to-market strategy for an early stage digital health company. Sourced and laid the foundations for a strategic partnership with a leading medical device company- Assisted a leading VC fund in due-diligence on early stage companies active in a specific area. The effort culminated in a combined merger and investment deal- Led a strategic NPI effort for a growth stage Ag-tech company, which resulted in a very large scale R&D initiative adopted by the company- Designed a product and customer discovery campaign for a deep-tech start-up company, looking to further leverage its core technology in new markets

Co-founded and led the company in searching for translational genomic technologies. Built a complex project around state of the art single-cell technologies developed at the Weizmann Institute. Designed and negotiated agreements to license the technology. Initiated and executed commercial deals leveraging Xiom's capabilities to create unprecedented visibility and explainability for clinical stage pharmas.

Wide exposure to the healthcare ecosystem, and in particular to Digital Healthcare.Due diligence on selected deals.

Managed very large scale HW-SW-Mechanics projects (team size of approximately 500 engineers). Oversaw the development, production, testing and integration of complex systems, in a multi-project, highly time-constrained environment. Mentored the work of 10 subject leaders.

Led a multi-disciplinary team of 40 digital HW, SW and HDL engineers. Managed 4 team leaders (HW&SW) working concurrently on 1-2 projects as well as 3-5 next generation products.

Managed multi-disciplinary projects of a small to medium scale (approximately 100 engineers). Worked in close proximity to clients, developers and executive management.

Translated client's needs and concept of operation into technological requirements and design. Lead the development of a complex multi-disciplinary system (HW, RF, SW, Mechanics, etc.), defined the interfaces between the different modules and sub-modules and characterized system flows and processes.

Gained extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing and testing digital hardware and HDL (Verilog).
