From very early on, I have been vigorously reaching to expand my knowledge on media production and entertainment industry, but as well as globalization and international intellectual property rights. Starting out in high school at Asbury, Alabama, I helped set up the school's news media production team, then continued in the program for two years, gaining a beginner's level amount of experience that would only be expanded from there. Directly upon graduating high school, I went to work for Sand Mountain Broadcasting Service, at the WAVU 107.5 radio station as a producer. This was a great hands-on experience in the radio industry, where I was able to work with many aspects of the radio station. I was able to become comfortable with speaking live on air, work with a digital audio workstation, manage audio engineering for live performing talents, and work with talents in a friendly manner so they could be aware of time constraints. My time at WAVU ended with flawless transition when I moved cross-state to become a full-time student at the University of North Alabama. There I began studying in the Entertainment Industry program, a program that holds significant value there in the historic Muscle Shoals area of Alabama. At university, I became intrigued with international studies, which led me to briefly study international intellectual property rights in Taiwan. After that, I continued in international study, I was handpicked for a scholarship to China, where I studied Chinese language for two semesters. I believe in the ever-changing, technology-based, globalized world that we live in today, my experience in how other parts of the world put to practice their entertainment and media, as well as my general knowledge of the field will be vital in helping me be a proactive employee in today's entertainment industry.
